New Account Representative

Person will be responsible for performing a variety of duties in promoting and selling bank deposit products to new and existing customers, as well as, servicing customer's accounts. Duties will include:

  • Open new accounts and assists customers with account questions
    as necessary.
  • Quote rates, terms and fees on all consumer products and
    services and provides product disclosures to clients as required.
  • Initiate servicing calls on maturing accounts, leads, referrals,
    new account follow-up and other prospecting opportunities.
  • Develop new business opportunities and cross-sells additional
    products and services to customers with an emphasis on establishing profitable client relationships.
  • Actively seeks out and maintains extensive product knowledge of
    all banking products.
  • Accurately processes customer transactions. Such transactions
    include, but are not limited to, deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, and issuing negotiables.
  • Respond to customer questions and resolves problems.
  • Explain transaction policy and procedures as required.
  • Perform ATM balancing and servicing or Vault Teller
    responsibilities if needed.
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct within the
    guidelines set forth in the Bank's Employee Handbook.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and
    procedures within a particular field.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and
    regulations.
