Community Bank of the Bay is a community bank with offices in Oakland and Danville, California. We are dedicated to meeting the financial needs of small/medium businesses, professional service firms and non profits. Community Bank of the Bay is the home of the Bay Area Green Fund® This fund assists individuals in making certain that their money is used to promote their values. Community Bank of the Bay's primary mission is to work with businesses and non profits to grow their organizations by providing the financial resources to do so.
Founded in 1996, Community Bank of the Bay was California's first Community Development Financial Institution and later became the first certified green bank in Oakland. We focus the majority of our efforts and resources towards stimulating the local economy by creating jobs and improving the quality of life in the East Bay. Our bankers have long tenures in banking and have worked with numerous businesses and non-profits to understand their challenges.
